The Personal Data Protection Service has initiated a training course on data processing issues for individuals interested in the subject. Participants in the training will receive theoretical and practical information about the new legislation on personal data protection, citizen's rights and other important issues during the course. The trainees will learn the main provisions of the new law of Georgia "On Personal Data Protection", get acquainted with the subjects of the personal data protection law and industry terminology.

The course is intended for both the private and public sectors, including law enforcement and other data processors. Its purpose is to provide a foundational understanding of existing concepts and theories related to the right to privacy, as well as the national legal framework. Upon completion of the training course, participants will acquire fundamental information on personal data protection laws, will be able to identify, evaluate and solve the actual circumstances of casuistic cases related to personal data processing. After successfully finishing the course, participants will receive a notification confirming their completion of the general training course on personal data protection law. The two-day training courses will be conducted weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the service office.
