The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia provided information brochures printed in Braille to the Blinds’ Union of Georgia.

To enhance awareness among individuals with disabilities about personal information protection, the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia prepared brochures in Braille. Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili, President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia, presented these materials to the Chairman of the Blinds’ Union of Georgia and representatives of various Tbilisi branches. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili, the First Deputy President of the Service, and Maia Gogoladze, the Head of the Department of Administrative and Economic Support.

During a meeting with members of the Blinds’ Union of Georgia, the President of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia discussed the significance of protecting the rights of people with disabilities. Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili introduced them to the mandate and functions of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia and expressed the service's readiness to organize training sessions for union members to enhance awareness.

It's important to note that the Blinds’ Union in Georgia comprises 15 branches located in both Tbilisi and the regions, with approximately 3000 members. The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia plans to gradually distribute Braille brochures to all of these branches.
