Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia Engaged in Meeting with Academic and Administrative Staff of the Erasmus+ Program

Representatives of the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia held a meeting with the academic and administrative staff from the University of Granada (Spain), who were invited within the framework of the Erasmus+ program funded by the European Commission. The University of Granada is a partner university of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

The meeting was attended by Ana Tokhadze, Head of the International Relations, Analytics, and Strategic Development Department of the Personal Data Protection Service; Nikoloz Popiashvili, Head of the Office of the President of the Service; and Mariam Gaiparashvili, Deputy Head of the Office. During the informational session, Ana Tokhadze presented an overview of the service's mandate, its key areas of operation, national legislation governing personal data protection, initiatives undertaken to enhance public awareness within the sector, and the service's institutional strengthening concept to the visiting representatives from foreign universities.

The second part of the information meeting revolved around a question-and-answer exchange between the service's representatives and the visiting university personnel.
