The Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia Awarded the School Students Winning the Blog Contest

The Personal Data Protection Service awarded the school students winning the blog contest.

Giorgi Ivanidze, a student of Vladimir Komarov Public School Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics N199, took the I place.

Mishiko Beradze, a student of Khidri village public school of Kharagauli municipality, took the II place.

Ana Giglemiani, a student of the public school of the village Sameba, Tsalka municipality, took the III place.

The President of the Service, Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili, hosted the winning students at the Personal Data Protection Service Office. She awarded the winners with certificates, as well as prizes - tablets and branded items and wished them success in their future endeavors.   

According to Prof. Dr. Dr. Lela Janashvili, the Personal Data Protection Service constantly tries to arrange various activities to raise public awareness, including one of the most important segments,  the schools and students. Therefore, it is noteworthy that the blog contest has aroused interest throughout Georgia.

The specially invited jury – writer Davit Gorgiladze, also addressed the winning students.

"I, My Personal Data, and Eyes Wide Open" - a blog competition with this title was announced for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th - grade students by the Personal Data Protection Service last month. Approximately 60 students from different regions of Georgia took part. The competition aimed to raise awareness among school students about the importance of personal data protection.

The Personal Data Protection Service expresses gratitude to all participants for their active engagement. The Service will continue similar activities in the future.
