First Deputy Head of Personal Data Protection Service, Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili Attended an Inter-Agency Meeting Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

First Deputy Head of Personal Data Protection Service, Dr. Otar Chakhunashvili attended an interagency meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the frame of which the EU membership questionnaire was discussed. The questionnaire, among other important issues, focuses on the state of personal data protection in Georgia.

 

Deputy Foreign Minister, Teimuraz Janjalia chaired the meeting, where the functions and responsibilities were separated between the agencies, and an action plan was drawn up. 

 

It is noteworthy that the European Commission will prepare its assessment report (opinion) based on the self-assessment

questionnaire on granting candidate status to the country.
