The State Inspector’s Service Held a Meeting on the Issues of Processing Personal Data in Labour Relations with the Private Companies

The State Inspector’s Service held a working meeting on the issues of processing personal data in labour relations with the private companies. The meeting aimed to raise awareness of employers and improve the standard of protection of employees’ personal data.

The event was led by the Deputy State Inspector, Salome Bakhsoliani and the Deputy Head of the Private Sector Oversight Department, Archil Javelidze.  

The meeting which was attended by the representatives of nearly 70 private companies, focused on the key legislative regulations the employers shall take into consideration when protecting personal data in labour relations. In addition, the participants were introduced to the information on the practice and experience of the State Inspector’s Service.

The meeting was implemented in collaboration with the Global Compact Network Georgia and the law firm JG Counselors.
