Active training for civil servants by the Service aims at ensuring protection of the right to privacy and personal data through improving their qualification.

In the framework of the program, personal data protection instruments both from the international and national legal perspective were discussed. In particular, the attendees were introduced to the rights of data subjects, key principles and rules of data protection, major instruments of the European legal system – the Convention 108 of the Council of Europe and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Important practice and recommendations in the frame of the activities of the Service were analyzed in detail.
The knowledge gained will assist the staff of the Diplomatic Missions in ensuring high standards and preventing violations in the field of data protection in their day-to-day activities.

Close cooperation with public agencies, as well as sharing information and experience is one of the priorities of the State Inspector’s Service. Raising qualification of civil servants will actively continue in the future.
