The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia Awarded Winners of the Photo Contest “My Personal Data is Mine”

The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia and Anna Chernyshova, Deputy Resident Representative of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) awarded the winners of the photo contest “My Personal Data is Mine” announced by the State Inspector’s Service.

Londa Toloraia congratulated the contestants and underlined that the main achievements of the project is to instill interest in the young generation and share their vision on data protection issues.

Around 100 schoolchildren participated in the contest from different regions of Georgia. The children presented threats that resulted from improper protection of personal data from their perspective. 

The first three winners were revealed by the jury composed of the representatives of the State Inspector’s Service and invited specialists. “Peoples’ favorite photo” was revealed by Facebook users:

  • I place winner - Tamar Khutsishvili, Kareli N 2 Public School, 11th grade;
  • II place winner – Tatia Kobuladze, Tbilisi N 174 Public School, 11th grade;
  • III place winner – Ana Kurtanidze, Akhaltsikhe Municipality Village Minadze School, 6th grade;
  • “Peoples’ favorite photo” – Sopho Kabulashvilli, King Tamar Tbilisi Gymnasium, 10th grade;

Given the high motivation and interest expressed by the schoolchildren, two additional winners were revealed by the decision of the State Inspector for having presented topical issues in an interesting way:

  • David Benidze, Tskaltubo Municipality N4 Public School, 5th grade;
  • Keso Kondakhishvili, Tbilisi Private School “Jejili”, 5th grade.
