“My Personal Data Are Mine”  

The State Inspector's Office is announcing a photo contest for schoolchildren

The State Inspector’s Office, as part of the week dedicated to the International Day for the Protection of Personal Data, with the support of the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), is announcing a photo contest for schoolchildren - "My personal data are mine."

The students of all private and public schools operating in Georgia can participate in the contest.

The aim of the contest is to raise public awareness on the issue of personal data protection, to promote the development of adolescents and to emphasize the importance of protecting the personal data of minors.

It is possible to take photos with any device (mobile phone, photo camera, video camera, and so on).  The photos submitted to the contest, shall correspond to the topic of the contest, with their content.

Four winners will be identified within the frameworks of the contest, in particular:

• People's favorite in the social network - will be revealed through Facebook Likes;
• Jury’s Favorites - the first, second and third place winners will be identified by the jury.

The photos will be accepted to the contest by 28 February (inclusively) 2021  on the following e-mail address  - photocontest@stateinspector.ge

The photos submitted by the contestants will be posted on the official Facebook page of the State Inspector's Office on March 1, after checking the compliance with the established contest rules.

A 10-day period will be set for revealing a favorite photo of people on the social network. In order to identify the three favorites of the jury, the works will be evaluated by a commission composed of representatives of the State Inspector's Office and invited independent persons.

The winners of the competition will be announced on March 12 , 2021.
