The State Inspector Held a Meeting with the Newly Appointed Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia

The State Inspector, Londa Toloraia held an introductory meeting with the new Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia, Natalia Voutova. The representatives of the State Inspector’s Service and the Council of Europe Office in Georgia attended the meeting.

At the meeting Londa Toloraia congratulated Natalia Voutova on her new appointment and wished her success in her future activities. During the meeting the parties discussed future projects and the projects already implemented with the support of the Council of Europe. Existing challenges of the Service and measures to be taken were also covered.  At the end of the meeting Londa Toloraia and Natalia Voutova discussed prospects for future cooperation and joint activities.

Natalia Voutova underlined the importance of cooperation with the State Inspector’s Service and pledged to support institutional strengthening of the Service.

The Council of Europe in Georgia is one of the most important partners of the State Inspector’s Service.  With the support of the Office numerous projects have been implemented, both with respect to personal data protection and the investigative direction.

Cooperation with the international partners is of fundamental importance for the State Inspector’s Service which the Service will actively continue in future.
