The Personal Data Protection Inspector met with the Parliamentary Secretary of the President of Georgia

The Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector hosted the Parliamentary Secretary of the President of Georgia to discuss the draft legislative amendments concerning the covert investigative activities, the role and efficient control mechanisms of the Personal Data Protection Inspector.

The Administration of the President of Georgia proposed the meeting which was attended by the Personal Data Protection Inspector Tamar Kaldani, Deputy Inspector Nikoloz Bregvadze and the Parliamentary Secretary of the President of Georgia Anna Dolidze.

Parliamentary discussions on the legislative amendments concerning the covert investigative activities are scheduled in the coming week. The legislative amendments envisage implementation of the Constitutional Court Decision of April 14, 2016.
