The issues of elections and data protection, security of electronic databases, balance between freedom of expression and right to privacy were discussed during the meeting with the representatives of Armenian Data Protection Agency.

Aim of the meeting with Armenian delegation was to share experience of Georgian data protection authority with Armenian colleagues. Representatives of the Inspector’s Office introduced to the guests data protection legislation of Georgia, structure of the Inspector’s Office, competencies of the Inspector and existing experience.

Study visit was held within the Programmatic Cooperation Framework of Council of Europe and European Union.
