Opening New Territories for Privacy – Georgian Delegation attends an international conference in Morocco

The 38th International Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners Conference opened in Marrakesh, Morocco, to discuss privacy in the digital era, authorized access to encrypted communications, and the rule of law.

Personal Data Protection Inspector of Georgia, Tamar Kaldani, and Deputy Inspector Nikoloz Bregvadze attended the conference together with the international privacy community, which includes delegations from 63 countries.

The conference is dedicated to new challenges in the field of personal data protection. Throughout the next four days, conference delegates will discuss drafts of a number of documents. The adoption of resolutions and declarations is also planned during the conference.

This is the 38th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners. Last year, the conference was hosted by The Netherlands.
