If you have information about a possible violation and you want to inform the Personal Data Protection Office, you can send us a notification via this page. To do so, you must first fill in the notification field and provide us with as much details as possible about the content, place and time of violation as well as about the alleged offender. When you send us a notification it is preferable that you indicate your contact details, so that we can get in touch with you if needed. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, fill in just one mandatory field. You can send us notification via our mobile app too.

Submit a complaint

If you believe that your personal data are processed unawlfully and you want The Personal Data Protection Service to address the violation, you can submit a complaint to our office at the addres: #7 Vachnadze Str, Tbilisi, and also electronically. To submit an electronic complaint, you may download a complaint template, fill it out, sign it and send a scanned version to the address: office@pdps.ge. The Personal Data Protection Office offers you an even more flexible opportunity: sign up in the Case Management System where you can submit a complaint, follow the process of hearing your complaint and receive comprehensive information - all in one virtual space.

Personal Data Protection Inspector Participated in the 18th Meeting of the CEEDPA

11-12 May 2016, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina - The 18th meeting of the Central and Eastern European Data Protection Authorities (CEEDPA) was attended by Tamar Kaldani, the Inspector of Georgia’s Office of Personal Data Protection and Nino Tsagareishvili, the representative of the International Relations Department of the Office held in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 11-12 May 2016.

In the meeting of the CEEDPA, Tsagareishvili presented to participants the Georgia’s regulations on personal data protection issues and basic directions of the activities of the Personal Data Protection Inspector’s Office, specific regulations related to video surveillance, the data protection violations revealed by the Inspector’s Office and implemented measures, as well as the prevention issues related to the illegal processing of personal data and the planned amendments in the law papered by the organization which also covers video and audio monitoring.

The issues relating to Personal Data Protection in Labor Relations, the processing of specific categories of data in healthcare sector, using the biometric data and data transboundary transferring topics.

“It is essential for us to be introduced with other countries data protection mechanisms and getting information about their practices. Furthermore, we would like to share our experience with our colleagues and inform them about reforms implemented by the Inspector’s Office,” the Inspector of Personal Data Protection Office Tamar Kaldani said.

The next, 19th meeting of the CEEDPA will be held in Tbilisi in 2017.
