Training on Personal Data Protection was Carried out for the Notary

On April 7-8, 2016, staff of the Inspector’s Office carried out training on personal data protection related issues for the notary. The training aimed to deepen the knowledge of the notary on personal data protection and to implement correct practice in their daily work.
Different topics were discussed during the training, including but not limited to personal data protection regulations, video monitoring, data disclosure, transfer of the data to other states or international organizations, data subjects’ rights and activities of the Inspector’s Office. Representatives of the Inspector’s Office responded to the questions of the notary on their activities and established practice.
Training was carried out by the organization of the Notary Chamber of Georgia. Inspector’s Office continues to carry out trainings for the representatives of private and public organizations. Another training is planned at the High School of Justice.
