The Personal Data Protection Inspector is attending a conference in Estonia

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), designation of Personal Data Officers, impact of the new regulation on private sector – representatives of personal data protection authorities and experts of the personal data protection and privacy field gather in Tartu, Estonia to discuss these and other relevant topics. The Inspector, Tamar Kaldani and the Deputy Inspector, Nikoloz Bregvadze are representing Georgia at the conference.

Within the framework of the conference, the discussions will cover implementation mechanisms of the GDPR, its practical aspects and the impact both on public and private sectors, transborder cases and the role of data protection authorities.

The conference is organized by the Estonian Ministry of Justice in close cooperation with the University of Tartu School of Law in the framework of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
