The Personal Data Protection Inspector is attending the 43rd T-PD Bureau Meeting

Cooperation with other Council of Europe bodies, processing of health-related data, guide for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) - the 43th Bureau Meeting of the Consultative Committee of Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data is taking place in Geneva, Switzerland.

Within the scope of the meeting, the members discuss modernization of the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, draft recommendation regarding the processing of health-related data and the guide for Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Further, the participants review the major developments in the field of data protection and activities of the Consultative Committee.

The Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector represents Georgia in T-PD bureau for the fourth year. Tamar Kaldani was unanimously elected as the member of the bureau in June 2016.
