On February 12, 2015, "Institute for Development of Freedom of Information" (IDFI) presented the report on the accessibility of the public information and nominated the most open and closed public institutions. Certificate for ensuring 100% rate access to public information was granted to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector. Certificate was handled to the lawyer and FoI Officer of the DPA of Georgia, Eka Gordadze by Giorgi Kldiashvili, director of the IDFI.

The Office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector provided comprehensive information which was requested by the IDFI within the terms determined by law and achieved 100% rate of accessibility to public information.

"Transparency and access to information is our priority. We proactively publish information on our web-page. However, when requested, we always provide comprehensive information to all interested parties. Like all other public agencies, we are accountable before the public"- said Eka Gordadze.

IDFI evaluates transparency of public agencies within the framework of the project on “Public Information Database - www.opendata.ge”, supported by the Open Society Georgia Foundation.
