Governmental Action Plan on Human Rights was discussed in Government Chancellery

First meeting of Interagency Council coordinating Government Action Plan on Human Rights was held at government administration, on October 30, 2014. The meeting was chaired by Prime-Minister Irakli Garibashvili and was attended by the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, representatives of non-governmental and international organizations.

The members of the council discussed goals and activates envisaged in the Government Action Plan on Human Rights.

Personal Data Protection Inspector, Tamar Kaldani also attended the meeting. She presented and evaluated activities of her office in the area of human rights during the last nine month period. Ms. Kaldani mentioned that the office of the Personal Data Protection Inspector actively cooperates with the both private and public organizations in order to ensure compliance of the data processing process to the legislation. The policy documents were elaborated and it worth to mention that public sector attitude towards personal data issues is full of sense of responsibility. Mrs. Khaldani also talked about activities planned for 2014-2015.
